The Polycom SoundPoint IP 650 is a high performance IP phone fully equipped with Polycom HD Voice. The IP 650 delivers advanced features, revolutionary voice quality, and the expandability to support SoundPoint IP Expansion Modules. The IP 650 is designed for both executives who need a feature-rich phone and attendants who need multiple line support.
The SoundPoint IP 650 has 6 lines in standalone mode and 12 lines as an attendant console when coupled with SoundPoint IP Expansion Modules. The phone supports a shared call/ bridged line appearance and busy lamp field (BLF). The IP 650 features a backlit 320x160 graphical grayscale LCD display, an easy-to-navigate menu, 26 dedicated hard keys, and 4 context-sensitive soft keys.
The IP 650 is the first IP phone to use Polycom's HD Voice technology. Polycom HD Voice has wideband audio, Acoustic Clarity Technology 2, and a best-in-class system design.The IP 650 supports Microsoft Live Communiations Server 2005. It also features a USB port for future applications.
The Polycom SoundPoint IP 650 can be expanded when equipped with three expansion modules. The IP 650 coupled with expansion modules can monitor up to 24 simultaneous calls on up to 12 lines.
The IP 650 is designed to make installation, configuration, and upgrading a breeze. It has a two-port Ethernet switch and Power over Ethernet circuitry. The SoundPoint IP 650 can be centrally configured and upgraded in the field from an FTP, TFTP, HTTP4, or HTTPS4 server and supports provisioning server redundancy.
NOTE:
This Polycom SoundPoint IP 650 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE).
