The IP 550 also has an integrated XHTML micro-browser that allows users to take advantage of productivity-enhancing Web-based applications. The Polycom SoundPoint IP 550 is designed to make configuration, upgrades, and installation a breeze. The phone has built-in IEEE 802.3af PoE circuitry and a dual-port Ethernet switch. The IP 550 supports remote provisioning and upgrades from a number of servers.
The IP 550 has been certified to deliver interoperability and extensive feature support. It can be used with Digium, Broadsoft, Sylantro, and other Polycom Technology.
