The Panasonic KX-TGP550 SIP IP expandable cordless phone system with a corded handset base station and 1 cordless DECT handset (Panasonic KX-TPA50) is a cordless solution responsive to the needs of users with SIP IP-Centrix / hosted PBX systems and Asterisk / Switchvox users. It includes all of the features and benefits offered by the KX-TGP500 with the addition of a corded base unit. With one ethernet drop, this system conveniently allows support for up to 6 additional KX-TPA50 DECT handsets with an electrical outlet nearby. With the KX-TGP550 you can take advantage of convenient carrier services, such as VoiceMail, Call Forward, etc. Also, for larger SIP deployments, this SIP cordless phone system can be used as a wireless terminal.
